The General overseer of the Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya is dead. In the release posted by his church announcing his passing,it stated that the sad event happened on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 in the United States of America,and he was aged 67.
Though the cause of his death was not revealed,insider said he had been ill,reason why he was abroad.
pastor Odukoya has had to deal with loses in his lifetime,the first being the tragic loss of his 1st wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya,in the Sosoliso plane Crash in December 10, 2005. He remarried his 2nd wife,a South African,Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
She also passed on in 2021,after battling cancer.
Then he lost his twin sister,Kehinde,a few years ago.
The news of his demise has come as a shock to Nigerians,who know him as an articulate preacher of the word.
The news was broken on the church’s official FB page and it reads:
The Fountain of Life Church Family, in total submission to the will of God Almighty, announces the passing unto greater glory of our Father, our Teacher, a great servant of the Most High God Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, Founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, who passed unto glory on the 8th of August 2023 in the USA.
“We are in total submission to you LORD!!!
We thank the Lord for the gift of a great leader”.
