Nigerian billionaire businessman, Otunba Dr Mike Adenuga Jnr and his wife ,Titi, gave out their daughter’s hand in marriage in Lagos last weekend, on Saturday, October 26,2024.And for their daughter, Shade,a certified Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, currently serving as a Group Executive Director of MA Group (and the founder of QuickLaw) and her groom, who is the son of late Ademefun Ogunsanya and his wife, Idera of Ikorodu kingdom, the Adenugas threw a lavish traditional marriage ceremony which was held at Se-Se’s groove, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The ceremony was grand in every sense as the Adenugas didn’t hold back to make it a day for their daughter to remember.
From the intricately designed invitations, curated to reflect the couple’s union in a way that mirrors the prestige of both families,to the lavish decor and ambience created by the finest florists, coordinated by the top event planners,as well as the menu handled by top caterers in the country, everything was done to ensure the ceremony was without a hitch.
As grand as the event was,it was noticed that the bride’s father wasn’t featured prominently at his daughter’s wedding,perhaps because of his preference for being a discreet but successful player
The marriage ceremony which was chaired by former Ogun State governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba and his wife, Beere Aderinsola, and had King Sunny Ade, David Adeleke, aka Davido; Dapo Oyebanjo aka D’Banj; Chinedu Okoli aka Flavour N’Abania and Veentage band entertaining guests.
Present at the ceremony were dignitaries that include: Major General Ike Nwachukwu, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Retired Lt. Gen. Alani Akinrinade, Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke; Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun; Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila; Nana Otedola, Tunde and Reni Folawiyo, Chief Bode Emmanuel, Adesola Adeduntan and many others.
