Famous Yoruba actress, Sidikat Odunkanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko, is dead.
Her death became breaking news on Thursday, when one of her daughters, Bisi Aisha posted the sad news on her Facebook page
She announced that Iyabo Oko died on Wednesday with this post: “May ur soul Rest In Peace mummy.”
Soon after, others in the movie industry began sharing the news.
Among those who shared the sad news of Iyabo Oko’s death is actress Iyabo Ojo,who shared a picture of the late actress with a message that reads: “Nollywood mourns. Veteran actress Iyabo OKO is dead.”
The late actress was said to have been battling with ill-health, which was the reason for her absence playing roles in so many movies,as she had taken a break to get treated.
She, however, lost the battle, as she passed on during the Sallah holiday on Wednesday.
