The founder of Africa’s most successful black owned Modeling Agency, ISIS Model Africa, Joan Okorodudu, was decorated with The President’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the Runway International Fashion Awards event that held at the Baltimore War Memorial centre in Baltimore, in the USA, on Saturday,5th of October,2024.
The award was presented to her for her hard work founding a black owned modeling company that has since grown tentacles across the globe, with a strong presence in London, South Africa, Italy, the United States of America, France and their latest entry into Colombia.
Joan, having overcome the challenges that came with establishing ISIS Models, even in her home country, Nigeria, has been able to make inroads into the modeling world, producing some of the world’s top black models today making waves on the international runways.
And for all of her accomplishments in that sector ,66-year-old Joan was honoured with The President’s Lifetime Award, signed by President Joe Biden.
The events saw other American women in the world of fashion honoured for their remarkable contributions to the sector.
