Bow down, fashion lovers! The Genevieve Pink Ball, the grandest of them all has come and gone, but not the memories of the evening. Especially the fashion statement. No doubt, all the beautiful princesses came out in their pretty, glamorous and adorable gowns to impress and support a cause, the Breast Cancer Cause. There was a lot of anticipation for this year’s Pink Ball red carpet looks and the ladies didn’t disappoint at all, as they all put their A-game on and dazzled at this event. Being an event organized to celebrate women, the women have proven they are worth celebrating.
The evening event, which held at the Dorchester Hall, Ligali Ayorinde, Lekki owned By Ibidun Ighodalo of Elizabeth R. who was also the event planner, was powered by Genevieve Magazine owned by Betty Irabor, who looked alluring in her fushia net and lace floor-lenght dress. The ball was sponsored by Fashpa, Access Bank, Camay, Moet & Chandon, Spice TV, City FM, EL TV, among many others with Bobby Tailor handling the PR.
The red- carpet took off later than planned at about 7.30pm, which was when the guests began to arrive due to the rains that had been just short of pouring all day. Cocktails were served on the red carpet and this lasted for about an hour and a half before the show started. A short time, you must think; but long enough for us to see all the wonderfully attired, passably acceptable, and not so wonderful stunners on the red carpet, I tell you.
The main event began at 9pm and was hosted by Michelle Dede. Awards were given and a runway show spiced up the evening with beautiful outfits from top designers.
Guess you’re wondering who our best dressed Princesses at the event are. We’d start out with our personal favorites.

This white cropped camisole and high-waisted full powder pink skirt couldn’t have been worn better by any one else. Thumbs up Eku!

Omawunmi knows her body and sure knows how to dress it. We love her in the black sequined top ands pink striped floor length pleated skirt. You rock mama!

Mochedda looked every bit a Disney Princess in this short pink dress with ruffles on the lower area.

Funke has been impressing on red carpets recently and didn’t miss this tome either. We love the way she infused the pink into her outfit with her bright pink clutch .

We’re blowing a kiss to Elma and her signature bleached hair in this simple but chic figure hugging floor length dress.
