Former presidential aide, , respected physician, and politician, Dr Doyin Okupe has died.
According to family sources, Okupe had been critically ill battling with Prostate cancer, with his health deteriorating significantly, leading to his death, after a prolonged battle with the disease.
Okupe was first diagnosed with prostate cancer 16 years ago, and later developed sarcoma in his right shoulder.
It was gathered that in October 2023,Okupe had been hospitalized with prostate cancer and was flown to Israel for treatment. However, his condition failed to improve as was expected.
He succumbed to death at the age of 72.
