Nigerian music producer, Don Jazzy has reconciled with award winning singer, Wizkid, months after their social media rift.
A recent trending video and photos on the internet, captured the two artists’ reunion.
Recall that their feud began after Wizkid’s controversial remark saying, ‘Hip hop is dead’.
The statement angered, Ladipoe, one of the singers under the ‘Mavin record label’ owned by Don Jazzy, who quickly fired back at Wizkid.
Ladipoe wrote, “Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ ,watching Afrobeat artists go through their own.”
Wizkid’s attention was drawn to the Ladipoe’s shade, and Wizkid followed it with this response; “lol, never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.d’.”
This was followed with Wizkid retweeting some tweets that got many people speculating that he was referring to Don Jazzy as a social media influencer.
As a result,Don Jazzy unfollowed Wizkid, who did same ,which further ignited their feud,as many social media followers of Don Jazzy called out Wizkid for disrespecting Don Jazzy whom they regard as a music icon.
Attached is the video that captured their reunion, suggesting that the feud has ended.
