Veteran entertainer, Charly Boy has dismissed the recent renaming of a bus stop in Lagos that used to bear his name.
The bus stop popularly known as Charly Boy Bus Stop was recently remade after rapper, Olamide Baddo, in his honour by the Bariga LVDA on Friday, July 25,2025.
Reactions to the name change has been divided. While there are many people saying it had a political undertone due to Charly Boy’s criticism of the current government, there are others who have embraced it with a tribal undertone displayed for their position.
Reacting to the name change, Charly Boy posted an image with the caption,

The post has since gone viral, sparking heating reactory comments from both fans and foes of Charly Boy on social media.
