Nigerian female award winning artist, Ayra Starr has become the first African female artist to hit 5 million followers on Spotif, as she set a new African record on streaming giant.
Arya recently surpassed 5 million followers on the platform, becoming the the first African female artist to hit the milestone.
However, she still trails Tems, who has 3.8 billion streams,compared to Arya’s 2.7 billion streams on the list of most streamed African female artists on the platform.
Ayra Starr’s most streamed song on Spotify is “Santa”, with over 707,987,442 million streams. Her most streamed lead single on the platform is “Rush”, with over 474 million streams.
