Legendary singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface has publicly apologised to his wife, Natasha, his children, and fans, after his controversial comment suggesting that men are not sexually wired to be with just one woman went viral and sparked an outrage.
Idibia had made the statement during a recent podcast appearance, where he stated that although a man can deeply love one woman, he is biologically inclined to have sexual relations with other women.
According to him, “A man is not built to sexually be with one woman. A man can love one woman die, but it’s impossible for a man to sexually be with only one woman. It’s the biology of man,” he claimed.
The pod cast video went viral and soon irked many of his critics online, many of who accused him of promoting infidelity amongst married men, though aa few others confirmed his statements the “harsh truth.”
In a turn of events,Idibia shared a video on Tuesday night, where he said the comment he made was “unlegendary” and offered a heartfelt apology.
Hear him:
“I know I fu#ked up with what I said and I know I’m going to get cancelled because of it. I apologise to my fans and most importantly, my wife, the love of my life, Natasha and also my kids. I’m terribly sorry. That’s not who I am”.
This will be the second time Tuface will be making this kind of statement related to men’s sexuality as it pertains to staying faithful to one woman .
His comment while on one of the seasons of Young, Famous abd Sfrican,2Face,who was on the show alongside his ex wife, Annie Macaulay, also said a man can love a woman but still sleep with other woman and it doesn’t mean he loves these women. That statement sparked an outrage as well, as Annie couldn’t veil her disappointment and embarrassment at his statement before the other cast members and knowing the world would get to hear a music legend openly express such a thought for the world to judge him.
