Nigerian rapper, Falz,whose real name is Folarin Falana has finally opened up on the widespread speculation that he had secretly tied the knot with his Ghanaian lover.
The rumors began after he shared a series of traditional wedding-themed photos online.
The post promptly went viral,and was soon followed by reactions from his fans,who concluded that the pictures were from a private marriage ceremony he had.
These speculation have since been put to rest,as Falz has come out to clarify that assumption.
According to him,the images were part of a photoshoot project,and not an actual wedding ceremony.
On his Instagram account, the rapper stated that he is under no obligation to share personal milestones with the public.
His post states,
“When everybody realized I wasn’t really married, people kept saying it’s a case of the boy who cried wolf. Maybe when I do get married nobody will care.
“It is bold of you to actually assume that if im actually getting married, I will share it.“
Falz ,however,jokingly said that when he eventually decides to get married, people may not even take him seriously.
