Following the reopening of her office in the National Assembly by the Sergeant at Arms of the National Assembly, along with a combined team of security operatives, suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has returned to her office in the National Assembly on Tuesday September 23,2025.
Her return was greeted with a mild drama at the National Assembly complex on her arrival, as she was initially resisted by some security operatives who prevented her from accessing the main building.
Dressed in black, Senator Natasha arrived at about 2:30 pm, accompanied by her supporters, shortly after the Sergeant-at-Arms announced the reopening of her office, which had been sealed for six months.
Her arrival at the senate building is happening while the Senate is currently on recess.
The unsealing of Senator Natasha’s office is an indication that the suspended lawmaker may soon resume her official duties as a senator as lawmakers prepares to resume plenary on October 7, 2025.
