The founder and General Overseer of The Turn of Mercy Church, Prophet Adefolusho Aanu Olasele (alias Abbas Ajakaiye), has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA),months after he fled abroad to evade arrest.
The Prophet was arrested over the allegation of being the mastermind behind multiple shipments of illicit drugs into Nigeria.
The arrest took place at his church located in Okun Ajah, Ogombo Road, Lekki area of Lagos on Sunday, 3rd of August, 2025.
NDLEA officers,who stormed the church waited patiently for him to conclude the Sunday morning worship service he was overseeing.
When it ended in the evening and he stepped out of the church premises, they moved in on him to conduct the arrest.
