The death sentence given to Maryam Sanda for committing culpable homicide has been reaffirmed by the Supreme Court.
The judgment of four to one,reached by a five-member panel of justices of the apex court restated the judicial pronouncement that ordered her death by hanging.
The court dismissed her appeal for want of merit after the panel resolved all the issues she raised in her appeal to set aside her conviction and the sentence against her.
