Music star ,David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, who had his white wedding in Miami, where he married his wife, Chioma, has taken to social media to respond to critics of his just-concluded white wedding.
No doubt, with clips of the wedding being shared on social media, which went viral, it soon ignited online reactions. While many described it as a touching show of love by the couple, who both paid tribute to their late son, Ifeanyi, there are some others who chose to criticise some aspects of the wedding ,which saw in attendance several celebrities, politicians, and influential figures from around the world.
Reacting to the critics, Davido put out a statement on X to express his happiness over how the ceremony went, describing it as a “fairytale wedding”.
His post states:
“We had an amazing wedding, perfect in fact! Me and my wife body still dey sweet us like this. Nothing una fit do, say, or make up will ever change the fact that we had a fairytale wedding and one of the best days, if not the best day, of our lives! The whole world celebrated us!”
His fans reacted to the tweet by praising Davido, choosing to highlight the positive aspects of the event and how he is unbothered by the negative comments from his critics.
